It was the first high adventure program Cliff participated in. It was a major part of Troop 33's program in the 70's, 80's and 90's. Troop 33 Scouts have attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico 12 times, 11 as a troop, with 1 council contingent participation in 2004. Cliff participated in 9 of those trips to Philmont, which included 6 expeditions and 3 cavalcades.
