YOUTH DUES
Our troop charges $36 per year which includes registration and Boys' Life. Boys' Life is automatic for each household. We have a $5 brother discount. We start collecting dues in January for recharter in March. Pro-rated at $3.00/month for those joining mid year. Fees are the same for all age levels except adults.
We sometimes waive dues for those with financial need.
ADULT DUES
We charge annual dues for each adult leader. They pay for troop activities, same price as boys. They can also earn money through fundraisers and use it for their account or apply it toward their son's.
SCOUT ACCOUNTS
All money earned through Scout funraising must be used for Scouting (dues,uniform,activities,equipment). If a Scout quits, his Scout Account stays with the troop. If he rejoins, the money is reinstated into his Scout Account. If he transfers, the money follows him to his new troop.
EARNING OUR WAY
It is our goal that any Scout can earn his way to any activity in Troop 33 through participation in our fundraising program. We conduct dozens of weekend activities during the year, plus a week at summer camp, and 2-4 major high adventure programs each summer.
FUNDRAISERS
All fundraisers are optional. Scouts may choose to earn their money other ways. We view fundraisers as opportunities rather than obligations.
