1930 Troop 33 presents first Eagle Scout Awards.

. 1935 Ramon Bowers becomes a dedicated Scoutmaster in 1935, serving until 1940. He became Scoutmaster again in 1944, Ramon passed away while serving as Scoutmaster in 1944. .

During the height of the Great Depression when money was scarce, scouts from Troop 33 worked to raise money to have full Scout uniforms, including campaign hats.

Troop 33 had a cabin along the Kishwaukee River north of DeKalb. Scouts would hike there for overnights from the church. That wooded area is now the present day location of Nehring Forest Preserve.

Troop 33 Scouts enjoyed Camp Rotary MacQueen in Kirkland, IL.
